HOA Payment Scam
Someone using a @gmail.com email address is sending emails to Oakwood residents requesting payment to be processed through Zelle or Venmo. The email claims to come from an Oakwood HOA Officer requesting payment for event supplies or other items/services. This email is spam. The HOA’s payment request process is old school. Invoices for annual dues and assessments are sent by US Mail and are announced in the newsletter prior to mailing the invoices. If you receive any email or an HOA invoice that you find suspicious, please forward it to alert@myoakwoodhoa.com or contactan HOA Officer.
